Fall Day...

We have had a very pretty Fall. Last Saturday was one of those perfect Midwest days. And Fall isn't complete unless we go to an apple orchard. So we headed out to Eplegaarden in Fitchburg, a burb of Madison. And found this delightful orchard. Lots of space, lots of people, you could pick your own or buy a bag...

Lots to look at... including old cars and old farm machinery...

Radio Flyer wagons to pull the little kids in...

Beautiful horses for the hay rides... really this place had everything...

It was such a lovely day and we just didn't want to go home... so we also went to the library, and then went to Oregon to a brat cook out, to Stoughton to some antique stores. Saw a condo on our way home. And then wandered Willie Street stopping at interesting stores and St. Vinnies. I always have a couple creative things that I am looking for ephemera for. Right now it is French things, alphabet letters, 60s bowls, and a vintage paintbox. Of course the looking is half the fun.
