Ice Tea Pitcher

Screen Shot 2013-03-21 at 8.31.24 AM i am trying not to buy any new kitchen things until we someday remodel and I sort through all my kitchen things toss the old and buy new. I had a vintage, glass pitcher I made sun tea in that was my friend Jane's Mom's. During a little dinner party I accidentally broke it and had tea everywhere. While cute it also leaked when I poured. So it was time. I had seen this on Amazon and really, really like it. Not only can I put leaf tea in the basket I can make tea all Winter. It is that new AcraGlass that is plastic but I can pour boiling water directly into the pitcher. Plus the lid seals shut. It also doesn't leak. They have other sizes and versions of this. If you are in need of a new tea pitcher I can recommend this one.
