All you have to do is point your device at the sky and the Sky Map will tell you exactly what you are looking at.

Displays stars, planets, moon phases, constellations, messier objects and meteor showers.

Friends were over and we had a fire and were looking at the stars. They introduced us to this app. Very cool, easy and fun to use. And it is free.
